Albert Pujols lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and had 2 RBI as the Riverton
Raptors defeated the Bridge City River Bats in 11 innings by the score of 7
to 6 at Wrigley Field.
 
Both teams were tied at 6 runs apiece after nine innings.  Riverton won the
hard fought contest in the 11th inning.  After an out was recorded, Alexei
Ramirez smashed a solo-shot out of the park (his 1st of the season).  J.D.
Drew was the next batter, but he struck out.  Bridge City was retired without
difficulty in the bottom of the 11th.  
 
Brad Ziegler(1-0) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Ziegler
got help from Takashi Saito who was credited with his 4th save.  Sergio
Romo(0-1) took the loss in relief.
