The Milwaukee Rams edged the Erie County Sea Wolves in 11 innings at Shea
Stadium by the score of 2 to 1.
Both teams were tied at 1 runs apiece after nine innings. Milwaukee was
victorious in the 11th inning. Nate McLouth drew a walk. Zach Miner then
let loose a wild pitch. Adam Laroche was the next batter, but he struck out.
Jeremy Hermida was up next and he drew a walk. Kevin Kouzmanoff came to the
plate and delivered a base-hit giving Milwaukee the win and sending the home
town fans into a frenzy. Milwaukee and Erie County each finished the
afternoon with 6 hits.
Scot Shields(2-1) went 1/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the win.
Miner(2-1) was hit with the loss in relief. He pitched 1/3 of an inning
allowing 1 hit and 2 walks.
