Ryan Dempster carried a no-hitter into the 6th inning as the red-hot Riverton
Raptors defeated the 10,000 Lakes Lakers by a score of 6 to 3 at Camden
Yards.
 
Dempster(7-0) was very good in the win.  He allowed only 2 hits and 3 walks in
9 innings.  The right-handed Dempster had his no-hit bid broken up by Jose
Reyes who doubled with two outs in the 6th inning.  Riverton totaled 13 hits
on the night.  
 
Dan Haren(3-3) was the loser.  He allowed Riverton 5 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings
of work.  For Riverton, it was just another victory in their mounting winning
streak.
