One run was the difference at Chase Field as the Albany Stallions ended a long
winless drought and defeated the Riverton Raptors 3 to 2.
 
Albany brought 2 runs across the plate in the bottom of the 5th inning.
Riverton threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.  
 
Darren Oliver(3-2) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory.
Ryan Madson gained credit for his 9th save.  Brandon Webb(8-4) took the loss.
 
Rich McCoy was just happy to get a win, 'We've had such a bad streak of games
-- boy, it's great to get the monkey off our back.  Now maybe we can relax a
little and play the kind of baseball of which we are capable.'
