Wil Ledezma struck out 13 batters at US Cellular Field where the sizzling Las
Vegas Godfathers beat the Watersedge Wallbangers 5 to 2.
 
Ledezma(2-0) looked very much in control throughout the night.  He gave up
just 3 hits and 6 walks in 8 innings.  Las Vegas had 13 hits for the night
while Watersedge had 3.  
 
Jason Motte got the save, his 1st.  Mike Pelfrey(14-14) was the losing
pitcher.  He was knocked around by Las Vegas, allowing 13 hits and 3 walks in
9 innings.  
 
Ledezma, when asked about his 13 strikeout performance noted, 'The important
thing is that we won, if I get 20 and we lose, what good does it do our team?
But, on the other hand, since we won it feels great!'
