First baseman Joey Votto left the yard and had 2 RBI as the streaking Las
Vegas Godfathers topped the Hillsboro Raiders by a score of 5 to 2 at Jacobs
Field.
 
Las Vegas wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning as they scored
3 runs on 4 base hits.  That scoring would be all that was needed.  Las Vegas
had 9 hits for the afternoon while Hillsboro had 5.  
 
R.A. Dickey(2-0) got the win allowing 2 runs in 8 and 2/3 innings. Geoff Geary
recorded the save, his 6th.  Ricky Nolasco(16-12) was the losing pitcher.
