At US Cellular Field the sizzling Las Vegas Godfathers easily handled the
Watersedge Wallbangers in 10 innings by the score of 8 to 4.
 
The score was tied at 4 after nine.  Las Vegas won the game in the 10th
inning.  The critical plate appearance was by Luis Rodriguez who helped quiet
the crowd when he doubled scoring two baserunners.  The game was a wild
affair with the lead changing hands 5 times.  
 
The victory was credited to Jason Motte(2-0) who went 2 and 2/3 innings,
allowing no runs. Joe Blanton(11-10) was given the loss.  He was touched for
14 hits and 6 walks in 9 innings.  
 
With the win, Las Vegas continued their winning ways; their streak now stands
at 9 games and counting. Bill Severn was very irritated after the contest.
