Cliff Lee dominated striking out 11 10,000 Lakes batters and left fielder Ryan
Langerhans had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Riverton Raptors topped the
10,000 Lakes Lakers by a score of 6 to 2 at Camden Yards.
Lee(11-13) pitched well for Riverton in their victory. He was reached for 11
hits and 1 walk in 9 innings. Riverton rapped out 14 hits for the night.
Mark Buehrle(12-9) was tagged with the loss. He gave up 4 runs in 3 innings
of work. Lee was asked about his big strikeout performance, 'Well, it's a
little odd when you rack up these numbers on the road - instead of cheers and
a running tally in the stands, everything gets real still and quiet. Just
strange - but it's nice to be able to take the crowd out of the game.'
