Albert Pujols went deep and had 3 RBI as the Riverton Raptors defeated the
Roeland Park Royals by the score of 5 to 3 at RFK STADIUM.
 
Riverton had the game winning rally in the 8th inning scoring 3 runs.  Jack
Cust led off the inning for Riverton when he drew a walk.  After an out was
recorded, Fernando Tatis came up and he drew a walk.  After another out,
Pujols stepped in and he clubbed a three-run home run (his 2nd of the
season).  Brandon Webb(1-0) got help from Takashi Saito who pitched great and
earned his 2nd save.  
 
B.J. Ryan(0-1) took the loss in relief.  He surrendered 1 hit and 1 walk in 1
and 2/3 innings.
