Martin Prado had 4 hits and 2 RBI and Adam Wainwright came through with a
solid 9 innings at Busch Stadium as the Roeland Park Royals beat the Riverton
Raptors by the count of 9 to 1.

Roeland Park took the lead off Brandon Webb in the first inning with 2 runs on
3 hits. After an out was recorded, Ryan Theriot started the rally when he
banged out a single. Prado stepped into the batter's box and he tripled.
Bobby Abreu then doubled. Garret Anderson was next to the plate, but was
promptly struck out. The early run support proved sufficient for
Wainwright(1-1) and Roeland Park. That was all the run support Wainwright
required. Roeland Park banged out 15 hits on the night.

Webb(1-1) was hit with the loss. He was touched for 12 hits and 2 walks in 5
and 2/3 innings. 'Wainwright pitched a gem of a game', Thomas Fischer
recounted. 'He kept our batters off balance the entire game.'
